Boat Regatta
Whether you're a salty dog or just a budding seaman, test your maritime racing skills in the Fur Trade Regatta. The annual event, which is part of "Fur Trade Funday" at Chadron State Park, challenges teams of two to race canoes at the park's pond. Awards await winners of the convivial race, which is open to canoers of all skill levels ages 12 and up. Open to racers and landlubbers free of charge (Donations accepted). Free paddleboat rides will follow the race.
